Welcome to The Figure Room. By booking or attending one of our sessions, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These are designed to ensure a safe, inclusive, and inspiring experience for all participants, models, and facilitators.

1. About The Figure Room

The Figure Room hosts creative, soulful life drawing sessions that encourage self-expression, artistic exploration, and human connection. Sessions may include figure drawing, portraiture, or self-portrait workshops in a relaxed, untutored format.

2. Bookings & Cancellations

• Bookings must be made through our website: www.thefigureroom.com.au

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the session may be eligible for a full refund or credit.

• Cancellations within 48 hours of the session are non-refundable.

• If a session is cancelled by The Figure Room, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer your booking.

3. Respect & Conduct

• The Figure Room is an inclusive, judgment-free space. We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behaviour.

• Respect for the model, facilitator, and fellow artists is expected at all times.

• Please silence mobile phones during sessions.

• Anyone who compromises the safety or wellbeing of others may be asked to leave, without refund.

4. Photography & Image Use

• Participants are not permitted to photograph the model unless express permission is given.

• You are welcome to photograph your own work for personal or social sharing.

• The session facilitator may take discreet photographs during the session to document the atmosphere and promote future events via social media, newsletters, and the website.

• No identifiable images of attendees or models will be used without consent.

• By attending a session, you consent to being photographed in a respectful, general context unless you opt out by notifying the facilitator prior to the session.

5. Materials & Setup

• Participants are responsible for bringing their own drawing materials unless otherwise stated.

• Easels, boards, and seating are available but limited — first come, first served.

• Please keep your area clean and respect the shared space.

6. Age & Content

• All life drawing sessions include artistic nudity unless otherwise noted.

• Sessions are strictly for participants aged 18 and over.

7. Liability

• All attendees participate at their own risk.

• The Figure Room is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained during a session.

8. Models

• Our models are experienced and professional. They are to be treated with dignity and respect at all times.

• Any form of inappropriate behaviour toward models will result in immediate removal from the session.

• Poses are guided by the session theme and model's comfort.

• Models are compensated fairly and may choose to remain anonymous unless agreed otherwise.

9. Workshop Facilitators

• Facilitators are present to create a welcoming, intentional space.

• They are responsible for session flow, timing, music, and maintaining a respectful atmosphere.

• Facilitators may take photos for promotional purposes (see Section 4).

• Feedback and suggestions are always welcome to help us improve your experience.

10. Privacy Policy

• Any personal information you share (such as your name, email, or booking details) is kept secure and confidential.

• We use your details to manage your booking, contact you about your session, and—if you opt in—send you updates about upcoming events.

• We will never share your information with third parties without your consent.

• You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
