Artists who are drawn to the male form and want to explore anatomy, structure, and movement in a calm and supportive setting. It’s ideal for practicing observation and using light and shadow to define muscle, balance, and weight throughout the body.
About the session:
Rebirth explores new beginnings and fresh energy. The angel wings bring a symbolic element to the session, representing hope, protection, and renewal. Artists are encouraged to interpret the wings freely, keeping them soft and subtle or bold and expressive.
The two-hour session is untutored, giving you the freedom to observe the model in your own way and translate what you see into your unique visual language. Surrounded by stillness, sound, and motion, it’s a space to focus, experiment, and draw with presence alongside others who share your love of figurative art.
Based in Sydney CBD, The Figure Room invites all artists, from beginners to students to experienced artists, to join this unique life drawing session.
What to bring:
Please bring your preferred materials. If you’re just starting out, we’ve got art supplies ready so you can dive right in. Unfortunately, oil paints and solvents are not permitted due to safety requirements.
